NOTICE TO AFGHANS

Brazilian embassies in Iran and Pakistan are the only ones responsible for issuing humanitarian visas to Afghans. However, embassies have suspended the issuance of humanitarian visas since September of last year. We believe this suspension is illegal and violates Brazilian refuge law and the Convention on Human Rights, so our office is filing lawsuits with the aim of securing the right for Afghans to obtain humanitarian visas or to enter Brazilian territory urgently and as quickly as possible.
